Brazilian Carnival and Doing Good!

On Friday there will be Brazilian live music & DJ, show acts, samba (tickets see link below) and Brazilian food in the B-Hof.

Samba workshop - drumming and dancing

At the beginning of the evening there will be a samba workshop where you can learn to drum and dance samba together. Anyone who has ever taken part in something similar will realise how quickly a connection can be made through playing music or dancing together, even if you don't know each other. The party is even better afterwards!
Free entry to the café

Upstairs in the B-Hof café, the organiser Mirasol e.V. welcomes everyone free of charge. Brazilian finger food and cake will be on offer there. You can meet new people, chat and learn more about Brazil. You are also welcome to bring your own food from home for the buffet. Then it will be even more varied.

Celebrate - and bring joy to yourself and others

Marisol e.V. Würzburg has been involved in street work projects in the poor neighbourhood of ‘Favela Arruda no Canal’ in Recife since 2014. Together with artists, it offers free workshops for children and break dance projects on sports fields. Music, dance and art open up new perspectives for the kids - away from drugs and violence.

With the proceeds from the evening, everyone who takes part supports this valuable work. This also makes it easier for these children to arrive in life.
