Doaa

Doaa has lived in Würzburg for 10 years. She comes from Gaza, a region characterized by political conflict and war. “What about the innocent children in Gaza? Why doesn't anyone hear their cries?” she asks, and her pain is palpable.
The duality of longing for her homeland and the difficult everyday life in Germany characterizes her life. Her greatest fear is the future of her children. “I hope that they can live in a world without war and without hatred. That they become good people,” she says.
The 53-year-old nurse calls for greater cooperation between different cultures and religions. “We have to respect each other. Regardless of whether we have the same religion or not,” she emphasizes.

Über diese Geschichten, Kunst, Diskussionen und kreative Formate laden wir alle ein, miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen, gemeinsame Werte zu entdecken und sie im besten Fall gemeinschaftlich umzusetzen.
Dass Diversität im eigenen Umfeld als Chance begriffen werden kann, will das Projekt ebenso erfahrbar machen, wie das Glücksgefühl, das sich einstellt, wenn man selbst etwas verändert.
