Christine

Christine – a traditional name that has been passed down in her family for generations. For the 69-year-old, it signifies connection and continuity. She has lived in Würzburg for almost fifty years, where she began her studies and has remained to this day. “When I see the fortress, I know: this is my home.”

Christine is grateful for her life: her health, family, and friends give her strength. But she also sees that not everyone in Würzburg can live as contentedly as she does. It is particularly important to her to provide more support for children and young people – not only in school, but also through sports, music, culture, and social activities.

Integration is also close to her heart. “It takes openness on both sides—and more staff to make it work.” She herself could imagine accompanying immigrants in their everyday lives.

She views the political situation in Germany with concern: too much conflict, too little cohesion. Her wish for the future: stability, respect, and a society that makes everyone feel like they belong.

Das Projekt
in aller Kürze

Jeder Mensch - egal wie alt, egal woher - will irgendwann endlich ankommen.
