Adrian

Adrian has arrived in Würzburg and feels at home here. But what does home mean to him? His answer is not only geographically, but especially emotionally shaped: “For me, home is above all family, empowerment and one's own history,” explains the 34-year-old. For Adrian, it is the strong network of people that supports him, the quality of life that Würzburg offers him, and the memories of personal successes that shape his time in this city.

Adrian is a person who is deeply rooted in his environment and has a desire to grow in his vocation as a music educator. “Music is a big part of my identity,” he says. For him, teaching music is much more than a job – it is a way to have a lasting impact on society. “I try to help each child move forward,” Adrian explains.

But despite all the positive things, Adrian is also weighed down by fear of loneliness and worries about feeling limited professionally. He is also concerned about the growing tensions in the world and the looming threat of war.

In an increasingly polarized society, Adrian pleads for more mutual acceptance: “I hope that in ten years we will have more trust in each other and not constantly point the finger at others,” he says thoughtfully.

The integration of people from other cultures is an issue for Adrian that is deeply linked to his work as a music educator. For him, integration is not a one-way street. Rather, it is about a process of listening and helping people grow: “It's about creating a space where everyone can find one's place,” Adrian emphasizes. This seems to be a philosophy that he lives by in both his work and his private life.

Das Projekt
in aller Kürze

Jeder Mensch - egal wie alt, egal woher - will irgendwann endlich ankommen.
